Year 2 leavers' bags
Following the success of a 'leavers bag' last year, our Year 2s have designed their own version to celebrate their time at the Infants. We had hoped that the bags would have arrived by now - unfortunately there has been a delay at the printers. However, here are this year's designs, and an example of what the bag looked like last year. We are selling the bags at £4 each. Stock will be limited to 1 per child. Please pre-order with payment at the Infant Schools this week. Staff will be ready to take your payment on the door.
The children have been finding out all about sea turtles for our sponsorship project this year. The common issue that the children are reporting is that humans are not using plastic wisely. For example, old plastic bags look like jelly fish, so the sea turtles decide to eat them for their lunch.
Our ministers attended a meeting to design logos for the Awards Event. They also created story boards in preparation for making short films at their next meeting.
